Jerry Lloyd Lashley, Jr. is a senior educational executive and operations strategist with approximately 20 years of leadership experience across the K-12 public charter, private, and education technology sectors. Throughout his career, he has specialized in diagnosing institutional bottlenecks, building robust data infrastructure, and executing large-scale network expansions that allow educational institutions to scale securely and efficiently.

Currently, Mr. Lashley is the President of Optimized Education Solutions LLC, a premier operational consulting firm providing fractional leadership, compliance auditing, and infrastructure design for Charter Management Organizations (CMOs), private academies, and school districts. In this role, he partners with enterprise B2B providers in Ed-Tech to bridge the gap between complex enterprise technology and on-the-ground school realities.

Mr. Lashley’s deep operational expertise is rooted in a proven history of managing high-stakes, multi-million dollar educational initiatives and institutional environments:

• Comprehensive K-12 Operations Mastery: Across his leadership tenures at YES Prep Public Schools, The Magellan International School, and Region 4 ESC, he maintained direct, multi-site oversight over the entire spectrum of school operations. He successfully engineered and managed campus safety and physical security, school nutrition programs, student health and wellness services, facilities and plant maintenance, complex transportation logistics, and rigorous state and federal reporting compliance.

• Executive Board Governance: Most recently, he served as the Chief Operations Officer for BIA Charter School, where he reported directly to the Board of Directors and worked in close, weekly alignment with the Board Chair to govern and streamline multi-campus operations.

• Network Scale & Growth: Serving as Director of Operations and Senior Campus Operations Manager for YES Prep Public Schools, he managed the complex logistics and operational footprint required to scale the network from, at that time, 4 to 11 active campuses.

• Enterprise SaaS & State-Level Interoperability: As a Director for the Texas Education Exchange at Region 4 ESC, he oversaw a $54.5M budget and led the successful launch of a statewide SaaS data interoperability platform serving 1,000+ school districts and 19 Education Service Centers.

• Localized Operational Alignment: He has held pivotal leadership and campus operational roles across diverse geographical markets, including Austin, Texas, and Portland, Oregon, where he scaled day-to-day operations for expanding institutions.
